These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Ordering

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.

Your order is accepted only when your goods have been dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.
  • Pricing or product information is incorrect.
  • A product is unavailable.
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
  • Delivery restrictions prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

Product Information

We make every effort to ensure all product descriptions, images, specifications and prices are accurate.

However:

  • Colours may vary depending on your screen or device.
  • Product dimensions may vary slightly due to the manufacturing process.
  • Product weights are approximate.
  • Images are for illustration purposes only.

As rotationally moulded products are manufactured individually, minor cosmetic variations may occur and do not affect product performance.

Pricing

All prices displayed are in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP).

Prices include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

Any pricing error identified after an order has been placed may result in cancellation of the order, with a full refund provided.

Payment

Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched.

We accept payment using the methods displayed during checkout.

All payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment providers.

We do not store your payment card information.

Delivery

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates only.

Whilst we aim to deliver within the stated timeframe, delays can occasionally occur due to:

  • Manufacturing schedules
  • Courier delays
  • Adverse weather
  • Public holidays
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

Ownership of the goods remains with Techneat Engineering Ltd until full payment has been received.

Inspecting Your Order

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If any item arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, you must notify us as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours of delivery.

Photographs of any damage may be required to support a claim.

Failure to notify us promptly may affect our ability to investigate courier-related issues.

Returns

If you change your mind, you may return unused standard products within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Returned products must be:

  • Unused
  • In their original condition
  • Complete with all accessories
  • Returned in suitable packaging

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Refunds will be processed once the returned goods have been inspected.

Faulty Products

If your product develops a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where appropriate, we may:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Offer a refund in accordance with your statutory rights

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage or modifications are not covered.

Warranty

Fatyak kayaks are supplied with a 2-Year Manufacturing Defects Warranty.

This warranty covers defects arising from manufacturing or materials under normal recreational use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic damage
  • Impact damage
  • Incorrect storage
  • UV damage caused by prolonged exposure
  • Commercial hire use unless agreed in writing
  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Product Use

Our products should only be used safely and for their intended purpose.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Wearing suitable buoyancy aids where appropriate.
  • Following local water safety regulations.
  • Supervising children at all times.
  • Ensuring equipment is suitable for the intended activity.

Water sports involve inherent risks, and participation is entirely at the user's own risk.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the above, Techneat Engineering Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses.
  • Loss of profits.
  • Loss of business.
  • Loss of enjoyment.
  • Delays outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.

  • Logos
  • Graphics
  • Text
  • Product descriptions
  • Website design

is owned by or licensed to Techneat Engineering Ltd.

No material may be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.
