As regular visitors to South Devon’s beaches (mainly Bigbury and South Sands in Salcombe) we were looking as a family for a lightweight double kayak and stumbled across the Mahee…we’re glad we did! It’s an amazing kayak which confidently lets us explore the Salcombe estuary at pace, gliding over the water. Crucially though, we were comparing the Mahee to other double Kayak models and chose it as the lightest of its class - all important when loading onto the roof of the car! Thankfully, the 30kg is 20% lighter than its competitors and was an easy decision to make (and load on the car!)

Perfect extra and a must have for the Fat-Yak. The fact that it fits perfectly on the back end and looks fantastic.

I’ve been bodyboarding for years, and this is by far the best I’ve ever used. Great control, super light, and holds up really well against tough surf conditions.

Took my Hono out for the first time in Cornwall. Loved the sturdy feel (also good for not worrying about getting squashed amongst the bags in the car !). Catches waves well and had a lovely glide. Also it looks cool ! Many people commented !
