Each Fatyak™ is inspected and approved during assembly. Each kayak is also inspected and approved after assembly by specially trained quality personnel.

Assessment Criteria

Products are assessed against three criteria using a risk-based approach focused on customer impact:

  • Functionality – Will the product perform correctly and meet or exceed customer expectations of longevity?
  • Aesthetics – Does the product meet or exceed customer expectations in appearance?
  • Legal requirements – Does the product comply with or exceed all relevant regulations and standards?

Defect Handling & Continuous Improvement

Any defects discovered are recorded against the product’s unique serial number and fully investigated. This allows the company to:

  • Amend processes
  • Implement training
  • Introduce additional control checks

These actions are taken to prevent repeat failures.

Internal Review Process


Experienced operators and support staff meet daily and weekly to review and resolve quality issues. This ensures that the entire team understands and maintains a strong customer-focused approach.
